Membership is open to those who have either taken shag lessons or can exhibit a basic skill of the dance and have been sponsored by an active GISC member. Prospective members are also encouraged to attend club functions prior to submitting an application.

This form you will also used for membership renewal and changes of personal information. For email address changes only, you can send your new address to Membership Email Change.
Club Lessons & Schedule
The club is a Social and Dance Club and many people who stop by on Thursday Evenings, do not know much about dancing or the Carolina Shag in particular. At 7:00 club members will teach the Shag Basic and a Female Turn so that anyone can be on the floor and start to enjoy themselves in 15 minutes or so. We run a full set of beginner classes at the YWCA in Brunswick and some Basic Plus and Intermediate steps with guest instructors at Ziggy's. The Facebook Page will keep you up to date with the most current class information.
