You can stay in a Studio Unit for $99 /night, the 1, 2 & 3 bedroom condo go for $129, $169 and $239 respectively. If you want Ocean view condo units, the up charge is about $20 per night The villas is located on the north end of the island and looks out on the ocean toward St Simons and Sea Island. Villas has indicated that they will run a shuttle service on both Friday and Saturday evenings to the Convention Campus for the evening events.
Hampton Inn & Suites ~ Host Hotel
The Hampton Inn & Suites is the Host Hotel for the Jekyll Island 2011 Beach Music Festival. The Golden Isles Shag Club - but the large block of rooms has been sold out for a few weeks now You can call to see if they have any rooms available, but these will probable be a full price. The hotel will be offering complimentary shuttle service to the Convention Center, so you will be able to lock the car, park and party.
Jekyll Island's newest hotel on the island, provides all the style and comfort that you expect from one of the Hilton Inn family of companies. It is the first facility of what will be a group of 3, on a beautifully wooded site set in the Maritime Forest on Jekyll Island. It has 138 rooms.The architects took great care integrating the outside facilities on the site. Because Jekyll Island is a State Park they worked with the Jekyll Island Authority and the Georgia DNR to nestle the Pool into a natural hollow, and provide a boardwalk through the forest and over the dunes to one of the most unspoiled beaches on the east coast of the US.
Last year many attendees took their coolers and beach chairs after the shows, spending a happy couple of hours on the beach "telling lies and war stories" till the early hours, accompanied by the soft sounds of the surf.
Jekyll Island Club Hotel
The Club hotel's block of rooms during the Beach Music Festival has also closed out, but the likely have some full price rooms available. Call (912) 635-2600 to make a reservation. The Club is little more than a short walk from the Jekyll Island Convention Center where the Workshops and Shows will be staged. Meals and especially the Sunday Brunch in the Club's Grand Dining room are a real pleasure, while dress can be as casual or formal as you and your party desire. The Jekyll Island Club Hotel is the anchor of the whole Jekyll Island Historic district. Built by Millionaires for Millionaires, It is the place where the Federal Reserve was formed in 1907 to combat that decades' Financial Crisis. Little expense was spared for is design, construction and setting at the turn of the 20th Century. Many wealthy people built cottages so they could winter on Jekyll. The 200 acre historic district is preserved and you can tour it and some of the houses. Many people agree its history easily rivals anything that Charleston or Savannah has to offer.
