Registration for Summer Heat ~ Host Hotels
When you make a reservation at either The Hampton Inn & Suites or the Clarion Oceanfront Resort you must call the Hotels directly on Jekyll Island - not their National Reservation Center to get the full Summer Heat and Beach Music Festival packages $350 ~ 4 day / 3 night package, and a $265 ~ 3 day / 2 night package. - its a one stop shop. These packages are limited and will close when sold out, or will expire no later than 7/19/10.
Included in the packages is 3 or 2 night stay double occupancy at the hotel, arriving Thursday / Friday and departing Sunday. You will have an Early Bird Shag Party at the Jekyll Island Convention Center on Thursday evening. You will be given 2 tickets for each person for the Friday and Saturday Night live shows at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. On Sunday morning before you leave there will be a Shag Gospel Hour.

Lets say you decide to wait and see if any great deals come available in the last week. Room nights will probably be $160/night, Tickets for the Friday and Saturday shows will be $20/$25 per person at the door, the Early Bird Party at $10 / person. Adding it up it will cost about $560 versus $350 for the 3 day package. Prevarication has a price!

The Jekyll Island Authority decided to make some additional venues available for you to enjoy while on Jekyll. When you register you will be given a wristband which will allow you to go to the Summer Waves Water Park and enjoy time there for $10 a person versus the normal $20. The tram tour of the Historic District and Museum entry is priced at $10 instead of $14. A VIP pass to the new deck at the Great Dunes Park will allow you to relax in the shade and comfort in the Beach Pavillion during the Beach Blast Show, partake of free BBQ and Adult Beverages - this is offered to package holders when purchased in advance at $35 per person (email: Golden Isles Shag Club) for this rate, versus the on-line price of $75.
