Shag-A-Ganza 21 & Beach Music Festival
In 2010 the Golden Isles Shag Club worked with the Jekyll Island Authority and the Host Hotels, to put together a long weekend event, especially for Shag Dancers. In 2011 the work has just started for Shag-A-Ganza 21 and the Jekyll Island Beach Music Festival. We plan to have 4 major beach bands, and have a host hotel the same as last year. With the Jekyll Island revitalization under way the venue for the concerts this year will be in the Historic District in an 18,000 sf fully air conditioned facility. We are planning on 4 very well known DJ's and will host 7 dance workshops for all levels of dancers over 3 days. We made a decision to go again with an all inclusive package price for this event, so that the parties, workshops, live concerts, beach festival with the great beach music bands and your room accomodation will all be included. In addition when you buy either of the the packages, JIA has offerred discounts for both the Summer Waves Water Park and tours of the Jekyll Island Historic District and Museum.
