Dancing at Blackbeard's on Jekyll
Blackbeards Bar and Restaurant is directly on the oceanfront at Jekyll Island. It has space for dancing in the bar area as well as an open deck facing the ocean. On Friday and Saturday nights happy hour is from 4:00 to 6:00, and if asked Chris the manager will play classic Shag and Beach music for you to dance to. Jekyll also hosts a big Beach Music Festival in August that attracts multiple band winners of the Carolina Beach Music Association. This event attracts thousands of Beach Music fans.
